Colburn Children's Choir auditions

Colburn Children's Choir is auditioning new singers. Age: 8-18 years
Rehearsals: 3 hours Saturday plus scheduled sectionals.
Audition and interview: Required
The Colburn Children’s Choir is a highly specialized ensemble of young musicians who have the necessary desire, discipline, concentration and dedication to fulfill the rigorous demands of performing. Special attention is given to the proper use of the voice, stylistic nuances in repertoire, blend and performance decorum. Students also gain experience in children’s opera. In addition to one three-hour meeting per week, the students attend a sectional and individual rehearsal approximately once every three weeks on a pre-scheduled basis. The choir presents public performances throughout the year. Extra pre-concert rehearsals are required. |
